Knowing we have a close family DNA it does not surprise me that I have the same instinctive feelings and responses to situations that you describe. So I believe there is something in what you say about carrying feelings and natural responses from one generation to the next.
Instinct is something that I find fascinating. For a long time, I believed that life experiences shaped who we become but the more I explore family history and genetics, the more I’m beginning to wonder how much of our responses, sensitivities and ways of seeing the world may have already existed within us.
